Mozza Stuffed Burgers


10 slices of fresh mozzarella

2 lbs ground beef

1 egg

1/4 cup bread crumbs

1/4 cup sweet bbq sauce

1 tsp garlic seasoning

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper


1. In a large bowl mix the beef, egg, bread crumbs, bbq sauce, garlic seasoning, salt and pepper.

2. Lay parchment paper on a baking sheet. Divide the meat mixture into 10 balls, then divide those in halves. Using one portion at a time flatten the meat to create a patty about 1/4 inch thick on the parchment paper. Do this 9 more times. Top each patty with a slice of fresh mozzarella. Then use the remaining meat portions to flatten into patties to top the ones with cheese. (Freeze any of the patties if you want to use them later)

3. Grill and enjoy with your favourite buns and toppings!
