About Me

Hi I'm Nicole! A little back story about me.  I am a mom to one beautiful girl and married to my best friend.  We live together in the small town of Conestogo, Ontario, where a sense of community and making connections with others has always been one of our top priorities.  Being just outside Waterloo, Ontario lets our family enjoy the conveniences of city life, while still allowing us to have a little more peace and quiet at home.

I created this website to share a few things I love most, food and fashion.

I have always had a good sense in the kitchen, whether being able to combine different ingredients for new recipes or cooking up dishes with things I already have around the house.  Though it may come easy to me, I know lots of people struggle to keep meals interesting.  One of my goals for this website is to help create a space where you can find inspiring recipes that are simple enough, so that anyone can follow along and make them in their own kitchen.

My second passion is for everything fashion.  I am always keeping up on the latest trends while finding ways to stay on a budget.  On this website I share trendy items that will help you find pieces that will not break the bank.  Trying to support local businesses when they need it most is important to me too, so taking a little extra effort to help maintain our community shops goes a long way.
