Serves: 6-8 people
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
1 1/4 cup milk
1 1/2 cup passata
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 cup canned corn, washed and drained
1 cup frozen peas
salt and pepper to taste
450g pasta of choice
2 cups of cheddar cheese, shredded
Instructions:
In a large deep skillet brown the beef over medium low heat. Stir in the milk, passata, sugar, basil, oregano, garlic powder, and simmer together for 5-7 minutes. Add in the corn and peas and continue simmer for 5-7 minutes more. Season with salt and pepper.
Meanwhile cook pasta according to package directions. Once cooked and drained toss into the sauce then stir in the cheese until melted. Enjoy!
