Ingredients:
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
2 cups flour
¾ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup white chocolate chips
1 tbsp milk
2-3 heaping tbsp icing sugar
3 peppermint candy canes, crushed
Instructions:
1. Beat the butter and brown sugar with a mixer until creamy. Add the eggs and vanilla and beat again. Sift together the salt, baking powder, and flour in a separate bowl. Slowly mix with a spoon into the butter mixture, just until combined. Stir in the semi-sweet chocolate chips with spoon.
2. Make 1 1/2 inch balls with the dough and lay on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes, or just until starting to lightly brown on the edges.
3. Once cookies are cooled, melt the white chocolate chips in a bowl in the microwave, removing every 25 seconds to stir until melted. Whisk in the milk and icing sugar. Add more icing sugar if it's too runny. Drizzle over cookies, then top with crushed candy cane
