Blueberry Crisp



Ingredients:

FOR THE FILLING:

5 cups fresh blueberries, washed, and any stems removed

1/4 cup sugar

2 tsp cornstarch

1/4 tsp cinnamon

zest from 1 lemon

1 tbsp lemon juice

FOR THE CRUMBLE:

1/4 cup butter, softened

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup flour

3/4 cup quick oats

1/4 tsp cinnamon

OPTIONAL AND RECOMMENDED:

Serve with vanilla ice cream


Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl mix together all the filling ingredients. Transfer to a greased pie dish.

  2. In a medium bowl add all the ingredients of the crumble. Using a form mash to combine. Evenly add crumble over the filling.

  3. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until bubbling hot, and crisp is browned on top. Enjoy with ice cream!
